Christmas to Easter 2005:
A visit to Manchester Velodrome - Feb. Half Term
Ben B, Ben O, Phil, Josh & Keith visited the Velodrome for a taster session. Whilst there we met the Olympic Gold Champion Chris who was starting his training session straight after our taster.

Snowdonia 25 - 27 Feb 2005

We stayed at the Pen-y-pass YHA again as last year. There was snow again which was a bonus. Six Explorers attended along with Rhys, Keith and Phil. We concentrated on map reading skills but needed our ice axe skills around Devils kitchen. Saturday we climbed Y Garn and Sunday did navigation to the east of Nantgwynant. |
