Winter Camp - Lake District - 2008:
15th - 17th February 2008
Earlier this year we travelled to the Lake District for out annual weekend of fun. We stayed at Derwent Water Youth Hostel.
5 Explorers and 4 leaders journeyed up to the Lakes. We were hoping for snow – but encountered very little.
On the 1st Day we walked to the top of Great Gable, the weather was glorious so we had brilliant sunshine and fantastic views all day.
For the final day we fancied a little scrambling so scrambled up to the nearby mountain.
